Following on from the catalyst issues, can anyone recommend a good ODBII reader that will do things like airbags/abs and maybe more ?.
I 'had' two - a basic plug in one that works with an app over bluetooth - useful for finding out codes and less than £30.
And an Autel ML629 (about £100) that did the reading and various resets for ABS/airbag etc - came in very handy with diagnosing some airbag issues, finding faulty crankshaft sensor and highlighting a failed coil pack when it eventually threw a code. Unfortunately, 'someone' related to me, broke it and never replaced it (you know the old saying about never lending stuff out...)
Ideally needs to do Nissan vehicles and a Vauxhall/Stellantis van, and maybe go a little deeper as the van has way more complex stuff in it that could need checking one day.
What do you recommend ?
