I'm with Virgin Media's cable service, which is excellent. Very fast, unlimited (aside from the standard fair-use clause), very reliable.

I'm with Virgin too (10mb) and have been happy with them at four addresses over 10 years (ex NTL).
Get exactly 10mb as paid for, great latency for online gaming and very reliable (4 outages in that time, longest was for 3 hours.)
If I do get download happy at peak times, then they reduce my speed to about a quarter after about one and a half gb, but then switch it back up to max around midnight so all huge downloads get done at night time. It is easily managable, certainly much better than a cap.
Musn't forget that they have just given me a shiny n-type wireless router as well.

There's no such thing as unlimited. Even the 'truly unlimited' deals, which only Sky (offered) and Be offer.
There is only so much data that can be transferred at the connection speed over the month.
It pays to mention, that 10gb is still a reasonable amount of data that you can transfer. Most people completely over estimate what they use when going for an unlimited deal.
If you're happy with Sky I'd phone them up and say you want to stay on their unlimited plan, without paying more. They will most likely offer you a deal so you stay.
