I have two steel-framed bikes, one a tourer and the other a MTB, and I would like to fit a kick stand to each of them. I have tried in the past, but always end up getting irritated by my heel occasionally brushing against the mount ... however far back I fix it. I do have very large feet (size 14), so it may be that my heels reach further back than most people's. Are there any stands that do not protrude from the side of the bike frame at all?
