Recommend me some non bib non pad tights

OK, a slightly odd request. I have a quite light pair of tights with a Roubaix finish inside, but not as heavy as most. And no pad (or at least a light fleece one)

They are twenty years old and elastic is going. I need a new pair for my trip across the USA www.usacycle2018.com

• so light but warm
• non bib
• little or no pad

Any ideas?

Pearl Izumi have a few unpadded waist tights (worth looking at their outlet site)

There are some cheapies in Evans sale too (FWE or Louis Garneau)

Or Ronhill bikesters if they still make them

That Tudor site is cracking! Their first listed payment method says "By downloading an order form and sending in the post accompanied with a cheque"

Did you get the winter cruisers as they are quite thick heavy weight tights. I had mine on today over shorts and I was rather warm. I'd say they are best at 5-8 degrees over shorts and I don't run especially warm. See what you think when they arrive

no, most likely with padded undershorts but I may well wear with normal pants on occasion

How will the seam rub through a pad? They make seamless tights/leggings for women, maybe that's an option if the seam is an issue

Otherwise, just order a few pairs from Evans or similar but I'd assume all have a seam at the crotch
