My old bontrager booties let in water this morning (us it was very very wet) - getting damp toes after 8 miles, and full squelchy shoes after 11 miles. They do have a velcro fastening around the top, but water still got in after a while.
I know nothing is 100% water proof but can anyone recommend a better waterproof set of Booties (need to fit over speedplay cleats)

Ditch the overshoes and buy a pair of winter boots (I use Sidi Hydro, but the Northwave ones get good reviews too).

Much warmer, much drier and given that I seem to be able to wear out a pair of overshoes in about 5 mins not that much more expensive.

These BBB ones have been very good for me. Nice & warm and pretty good at keeping the water out as well.
