Recommendations for a phone charger?

Looking for a gift for my teen's for Christmas and one thing they often run out of is battery life on their phones. We already have a block charger they can take when we go camping, I'm thinking more of an emergency just enough of a boost to let you use your phone to get you home. Preferably keyring sized and with an attachment for a keyring (else they won't remember to take it with them). I realise there is still the flaw that they have to remember to charge up the emergency device but you never know it might work!

Any recommendations or are they not worth buying?

For a stocking filler you can get keyring sized ones that take an AA battery. That way, even if hey forget to charge it, they can always visit a local shop.

Gravel uses a Powermonkey Explorer 2 charger £48 on Amazon at the mo. It's a bit bigger than key ring size but v robust.

Gravel would need robust.... But it would be too big for mine.... I'm looking for something that they can attach to their key rings more the size @numbnuts has suggested

That looks a good idea, is the reason they have missed off iPhones just because they don't provide the connector for it?

Most likely, there are lighting connector versions around.

Lidl have got some small ones in at the moment. I bought a couple today to give to my nieces. They are 2,600 mAH so about enough for one smartphone recharge. See HERE.

It's that my kids all use their phones differently but end up with flat batteries, one is a heavy user, one doesn't use their's very much but doesn't remember to charge it and the last one needs a new phone but they want other things more! It's just trying to give each one some emergency back up!

I realise the flaw is still they have to charge up the emergency backup but there is only so much I can do!
