Just do a reset?

External battery?
The very first thing I'd do is fully charge the battery and then confirm that it is fully charged (hold any shifting switch for 0.5s and the LED on the junction your turn blue).
Remove the battery from the bike. Reinsert the battery the next day and check the battery charge level again.
Not 100% (green LED)? Then it's probably the battery itself that needs to be replaced.

I have a similar problem with an 11 speed di2 set-up with external batteries. Charge lasts for 2-4 hours. No solution found yet. I just carry the spare battery.

My research has come up with these two possibilities so far:
  • Faulty Di2 wire/junction wiring — particularly the wire associated with the battery indicator/manual controls on 6770.
  • Faulty rear derailleur — particularly if disconnecting it makes the battery hold charge.

Yeah.. you could do that with every component. Fully charge the bike, disconnect one component, check battery charge level the next day.
