I injected Weldtite grease into the wee holes under the spring clips in the middle of the axles of my 2005 Campy Record hubs. I stopped when the grease began to come back out of the holes and traces of grease appeared around the seals. Thing is, the wheels now seem to spin much less freely than before and I am concerned I may have put in too much grease. Advice anyone, please?

There's no such thing as 'too much grease' in low speed bearings like on a bike. Any 'excess' will find its way out of the seals. You will have to 'wipe its nose' for a few days yet.

However beneficial a regular through flow of grease might be, it's no substitute for a period strip down and clean, especially in wet weather. This is easy to do on these hubs and the full instructions are on the 'Tech Info' section of the Campagnolo website.
