Have seen a similar one before, but that was intended as a transportation solution, would love to have one of these going fram home to work, then I could cycle all year around and not having to care about snow and ice

Get a velomobile and then you can ride all year ;-)

Try riding i Velomobile in 0,5 meters of snow or more and your advice is valid, until then you are only having an uninformed opinion
