Recumbent rider in Perth

I did exactly that (the ice cream, not the deckchair material!) a week ago after riding the trike around Loch Katrine - I stopped at Aberfoyle for a 99 then sat down (on the trike of course) and watched all the tourists coming and going

I do this frequently on either the Gekko or the Catrike Expedition

Whilst not a recumbent pilot myself, I shall be keeping an eye out for you two from now on, as you shouldn't be too hard to spot! I quite like the idea of getting a recumbent trike myself :cycle: once finances allow ^_^

Btw, did either of you see that chap on the hand bike out on the roads round Perth last year? He was well fast on that thing, arms like Popeye :training: though I've not seen him since.

Not hard to spot, especially if we're out together as we have done a couple of times now :bicycle: . The trike is great fun, as @scotbiker will testify, though overall it is a bit slower than a 2 wheeler. If you fancy a shot of my trike then perhaps you can join @scotbiker and myself for a ride sometime.

I did indeed see the bloke on the hand bike a few times - respect to him because it looks like hard work :bravo:
Apparently my wife saw him again recently, unless it was someone different...

More than welcome to stop us and have a chat, or join us for a scoot about Perth. Just shout 'cyclechat' or something so we know it's you and not some nutter  We usually go out on sundays.

I did see someone on a hand trike a while ago as well. Looked a nice machine.

Beware trying the trike cos you WILL want one. I've been reading up on them since the weekend, but can't justify hitting the 'buy' button just yet!
