Recumbent Trice on train Delft to Amsterdam?

Is this possible? A fractured femur with a fair bit of metalwork put in three months ago (off an upright, my fault) has put a regular annual trip to Holland with friends in jeopardy. I have always used the Trice before, but this year was going to be different with a train journey, so I was going to use an ordinary bike. But the combination of some pain, and trepidation about falling off again, means that I would prefer to use the Trice. Do we have to alter our plans or is the train trip do-able? There would be no chance in the UK!

Recumbents are allowed during certain periods by tricycles are not. Quite how a Trice fits into the regulations is a bit unclear. Here's a link....
