Recycling floppy disks

Does anyone know a company that does this? I have about 150 floppy disks of various ages to dispose of, and it seems to me that all the materials they are made of can be recycled if taken to the tip/recycle centre separately. I've had a quick google but didn't come up with anywhere in the UK.

My company won't pay for it either, so it would have to be a free service

Use them as retro drinks coasters.

Format them and write 'Important super-secret files' on the labels, then leave one on the seat each time you use public transport.

I have several hundred unused 5.25" floppies that I unwisely purchased in bulk just before 3.5" discs became ubiquitous.

I've been vaguely hoping that if I hang onto them for long enough they will start to have some antique value or possibly be needed for a retro computer project.
