I recently saw two bike wheels attatched to either end of a broomstick, turned on end, string tied between wheels, used as a support for climbing pea plants.

You will see a lot more of them - it was Bob Flowerdew's Top Tip on Gardeners' Question Time last week.

I've also seen a single wheel hung from a ceiling to hang kitchen utensils from on butchers' hooks.
