4 years ago I found an Obusson rug at the side of the road, I didn't know what it was but it was thick and lush and I liked it. Obviously a cat had peed on it or something but I figured we could clean it but just lately the dogs have started doing the same and as it was basically white it was my ladies nightmare and I couldn't handle another row about it so I put it back at the side of the road. It only took 2 hours to disappear. It was then that I Googled Obusson only to discover that its value was around $2000.00. maybe the dog/cat pee would bring the price down and although 'her indoors' is happy I have been busy in my mind buying $2000.00 worth of bike bits with a tear in my eye.
