Erm that should be what you usually do, and not just the nose. Slap the sun cream on and don’t be shy with qty.

Quite.

Being fair skinned but moley, I've had a number of moles assessed, removed and biopsied. All clear so far, but there's just no point in messing about if there's any risk of melanoma. It's aggressive.

It takes minimal effort to ask a gp for a check.
It takes minimal effort to slap on the suncream; I generally use it from March each year if i'm riding in sunny conditions

I seem to recall the fine print says you have to put it on an hour or more before you go out.

It’s 15 mins, not quite such a long wait before heading out in sun. I can confirm P20 factor 50 does the job.

I would advise to get a check, but getting to see a GP and a referral is very much dependant on your GP. Good look. Needs checking though.

My GP was good, then he retired, and we've random locums now, and the receptionists won't let you see them.

Our receptionists won't even discuss making appointments! They send you away with instructions to join (spend hours in!) a telephone queue, or make a request online. I tried 3 different apps before I found one that worked. The app that they initially suggested was ok for looking at one's medical records and requesting repeat prescriptions but the appointment section is never operational.
