And unless the governments of those countries and the EU begin to address the concerns of large sections of their populations those unpleasant extremists are going to benefit when people think they are the only ones listening to them. Learn from Northern Ireland where the British government and Stormont did just that to one third of the population, leading to the resurgence of the IRA and decades of chaos and terrorism.
Next General Election isn't due till 2020 so as you say, he had plenty of time for it within his election term.
Given the that there was more older voters voting exit, couple of years for a few more of them to pop their clogs (death rate is around 1/2 million per annum) may have swung the vote the other way.
Don't think they would change their vote because they had gone from 67 to 69 do you?And during that time younger people won't get older?
Has it been mentioned that this petition was started by an ardent leave campaigner with links to the English Democrats political group before the referendum when he thought remain was going to prevail and wanted to hamper their victory parade.
Seems he's a tad miffed that it has been taken up by disgruntled remainers.

Or has that been debunked since this morning?
my 16 & 17 yo's, all of their friends and overwhelming peer opinion when discussed in their schools (inner Oldham, very multi racial and not leafy lane wealthy) were for remain but too young this time round to participate, all are particularly miffed that the Scottish indy ref allowed younger voters to have their say on such a momentous decision. And during that time younger people won't get older?
I'm a tea drinker missen, but have got used to the fact that politicians lie to further their own careers/agenda. The system is rotten from the bottom upwards. You get one that's willing to actually stand by what they said, you'll notice they don't last long. As for the migrant workers, take a look at the transport networks within the UK. From the canals to the motorways, all have relied on migrant labour to be completed. So nowt new there.Don't think they would change their vote because they had gone from 67 to 69 do you?
What as happened is the leave campaign revolved around 2 issues 350m a week (or a new hospital, probably one in every town) and immigration.Since the vote the leave campaign as agreed that the 350m a week isn',t and what it is, won't go on the nhs in anycase, and that immigration could rise as they might equalise immigration from outside the eu with those within the eu.
Most of this seems to have gone over many leave voters heads as they are still waiting for buses to turn up with a one way seat to the nearest port for their neighbors.
Those that have woken up and smelled the coffee have realised that politicians lie and have lied just to further their own political agenda as opposed to giving two shoots about what the public were voting for. I would guess if there was a way of getting just the leave voters to revote then many would now vote to remain, I think many thought they were just sticking two fingers up at the establishment, many thought heallthcare would improve, and worryingly many expected all the migrant workers currently in our country would be out of work on Monday.
Yup they will. My daughter would then be eligible to vote, which would be remain. Maybe younger voters just feel more european as they've never known anything else and they don't have a pre-EU personal experience to compare it too.And during that time younger people won't get older?
