refitting cycle helmet straps after washing them

3 HOURS!!:bravo:but i got there in the end!!!

I took some photos before i took them of, but obviously not detailed enough. I searched CC, you tube and google videos, loads of info on how to make sure your cycle helmet is fitted correctly but nothing on putting the straps back together correctly once you remove them for washing (surely i'm not the only person ever to have done this).

Could i suggest some one with the technical know how and the ability to put them back together quicker than myself possibly post a video on how to do this?

It could mean 3hours extra out on the road for people like myself.

Ok there are loads of different brands out there but my particular helmet is made by BELL.

You mean you have to wash them.......

I just removed the padding then submerged the helmet , straps and all into warm water with a mild detergent, and agitated the water by hand for a short time whist paying particular attention to the straps.

Seemed to work for me and no damage to helmet
