Reflections of Autumn

I just thought I'd post this picture I took while out with the dog yesterday. I was just having a minute and I decided to take a few shots. I pass this lake virtually every time me and Patch go out, but there was just something in the afternoon sun that made me look twice, glad I did now.

Anyway, I was quite shocked when I saw how it turned out and just wanted to share it, hope you like it.

I'd seen some leaves falling and wanted to catch the ripple early, so crouched on the bank I tossed a half conker shell into the water and created it TBH

Sorry about the name Jez, I was overcome by cheesy sentiment I think

Don't joke about the dog Sharky, I had to keep throwing conkers shells one way to distract him then throw one in the lake to get the effect. I've got quite a few pics with various dog parts on, head, ears, tail etc

Garz, I don't know it's name TBH. It's located in the woods between Oaks Lane Farm and the Sharples area of Bolton. THIS should give you an idea if you know the area

The ripple was probably the Caad10 - Smokey hadn't mentioned it on the forum today, so it got the huff and jumped in !
