Three of my current four bikes came without reflectors. I scrounged some and fitted them.
If it makes me even slightly more visible to someone else on the road then it has been worth it. Don't really care about how it makes my bike look, nor the additional few ounces of weight.
The only one missing pedal reflectors is the Ratrike as that has SPDs. I could add some reflectors to the soles of my shoes but they will be hidden by the glare from the lights on the front of the boom.
