Reminds of the woman next door when my family lived in the Isle of Man. Somehow she passed her driving test but was incapable of making right turns. She used to plan her route to wherever so that she only had to turn left - which was possible on IOM.

I remember Reginald Molehusband and the Joe and Petunia coastguard one, but not the littering.

Also there was "Charlie says............."Don't play with matches" "Don't talk to strangers" and "Don't drink bottles of vodka on the park swings" (I made that one up!!)

I can even remember the film about an un-named girl working in a cake shop which encouraged us not to lick our fingers before picking up food intended for a customer. Always stuck in my mind due to the antics of a girl working in our local corner shop!

I'm a bit young for these, apart from Charlie, but we did get shown a "safety on the farm" film at school and the closing shot was of someone drowning in a slurry pit. I'll never forget that image. Unless I've misremembered it.

Can't find it online anywhere now though.
