If two people are happy enjoying themselves why are others so bitter, critical or dismissive? Are they just envious or jealous? Surely, live and let live?

I didn't have any problems with the others (live and let live) but personally I see this as borderline paedophilia:
"a 112-year-old Somali man who is marrying a 17-year-old girl"

A 17 year old is no where near enough prepared to be married, if she is happy than fair enough, but I doubt any 17 year old would want to marry an old man without some sort of force/persuasion/brain washing.

In general I think possibly for two reasons (a) because people are conditioned into it at school with the school years ( people in general are very ageist.

Dunno, but there's a lot of it about, not just ageism in relationships but worrying about the goings on of others who are doing no one any harm or mischief.

Nope, not at all, I'm just trying to get this thread going which I have to say is proving rather harder work than I thought. Given that most of the popular media and their readers' pride themselves on knowing the most imtimate details and sitting in judgement on many couples relationships I find it a bit odd .........
