Relative priority of Ignore Forum and Watch Thread

This is a bit obscure.

I've noticed that if you have watched threads in a forum that you have ignored, then under "new posts" you don't see activity on these threads.

That is to say the forum ignore takes priority over the thread watch.

Now, I'm sure it used to be the other way round. You could watch a thread in an ignored forum, and you'd see changes only to watched threads, and ignore everything else.

I don't know when it changed, or if it's configurable, but if it is possible to reverse the priority it would be good. Not great, not life changing, but good. If not, pffft, no big deal.
