Reliability Trial + snow + wind= Hell!!

Was going to do a Reliability Trial this Sun. in Wales. I fear I will prove unreliable as I find no pleasure whatsoever in rinding in sub zero temperatures up steep mountain roads!!
Call me a wuss if you like and I'm sure some will ride, just to say "I'm 'ard I am," as they succumb a few days from now to intestinal disorder brought on by cold energy drinks consumed when in extremis.
Question is, what would you do?

Dunno what it was like in Oswestry, but a bit further North in Cheshire it was a glorious morning, sun glinting off the snow, roads almost all clear apart from a few bits under hedgerows in shadow, by lunchtime all melted away.
Different story after 3pm however...then it was rain and hail squalls, headwind, fairly cold.
