Remote Control Caravan Parker

just been to see my parents and whilst we were there a n other local resident pulled up with car and caravan combo unhitched the caravan and then started using a hand held remote control unit to move and park the caravan it was quite good to watch as never seen before in action .

I saw one a few years ago. The guy using the remote was hidden on the other side of the van and before I saw him I couldn't figure out why it was moving by itself as it was on level ground.

Apparently they are quite common now.

Clever stuff. Have helped hitch my mate's dad's caravan when I was a teenager and it was always a multi-person job !

My grandparents' used to have one. It made it possible for them to carry on using the caravan for several more years until they could no longer manage the driving.

We were on a French campsite and they hadn't been out very long, a British outfit turned up, unhitched and used the motor mover to position the caravan on their pitch, cue half a dozen blokes running over to catch the runaway caravan!

My brother has one on his van.
