Good stuff @User9609! Car jacks can be bought for buttons on Ebay these days. I bought a couple to jack a 75kg bookcase up 4 feet before bolting it into a brick wall. I'm still scratching my head but your photo has given me a few ideas.

It's amazing what you can do with old car jacks, the other day I used one to raise my back wheel off the ground on my trike
