Removing the smell of indian cooking

does anybody know any tips on getting rid of the stench of indian cooking? ive tried the usual air fresheners etc but they have little effect.

Put a scented candle on in the kitchen before you start and always open windows. Indian cooking has lots of herbs and spices so it's not possible to eradicate them completely

Ventilate the room and wash everything that may have absorbed the microsopic fat droplets flying around.
