Must add my Renault is coming up to 6 years old and the Juke 5 years old.
Also, according to an AA patrol man, most breakdowns are from German cars.

In 56 years of owning various brands, my least reliable car was a Sunbeam (Rootes Group), closely followed by a BMW. Most reliable have been Mazda, closely followed by Renault.
Have never owned a Nissan. My oldest son owned a Nissan Quashqai. It managed to work for 7 years, by which point is was 10 years old, with zero maintenance and total neglect.
