After selling our camper we're back to car camping. Testing out tents, mats, etc. The biggest thing I've noticed is I'm no longer comfortable sitting on a picnic blanket.
So after finding out our tents are still good, our head torches are less so and not having room in the car we have the camping pillows are pretty poor too.
So anyone got recommendations for camping chairs (must be good for someone big), camping pillows and possibly head torches. Although I just bought a nebo one for £30 or half the price of the cheapest main brand equivalent. Time will tell as the alpkit cheapos were rubbish.
Last camping chairs I had were either rubbish ones from a cheap shop that folded out of a tube shaped bag or a thermarest chair kit that offered me no support and ripped in two when I first leant back in it. I'm not very successful with chairs.
Helinox ones look rubbish in small lightweight ones but they had taller ones that were like those cheap ones but better made and designed. Should be at £150!!!! Anything cheaper that's good?
I'm hoping there's some campers on here that do more or less than cycle touring style camping who at times fill a car up to make a campsite based trip more comfortable.
