Repairing an eBike kit

Some bike shop....charging for the conversation! I wonder if it's the Cytronex shop in Bridge Street,Winchester as no-one else - anywhere - seems to supply these kits. Time to move on from that particular bike shop.

After 3 years the battery may have died, and batteries normally last much longer. Batteries can die sudddenly. But so suddenly, after a mere couple of weeks of non-use, in summer rather than winter? The BMS may have tripped out for some reason, or a fuse, but batteries can sometimes be coaxed back into charging. Have the contacts, wiring and controller been checked? The simple way is to try a known-to-be-working battery on the bike but I suppose the bike shop would charge you just to put a good battery on for 2 minutes to see if things worked....

If all fails then at the very least you can be happy you have a bike you like and know, and a couple of kilos lighter without the battery!
