Repairing Lacquer on carbon forks.

Hi everyone.

I have a chip in the lacquer on my carbon forks... 2 quick questions for you really.

1) do I NEED to repair it? It doesnt bother me to look at.

2) if i do need to repair it, what do i repair it with? my immediate thought would be to use clear nail varnish, liberated from my wife's collection.

Advise always greatly appreciated.

You don't need to do anything, but nail varnish is fine !
