Replacement for crane winter gloves?

My well used winter gloves have been repaired numerous times and i think its time for a replacement but you just cant get them anymore so has anyone any suggestions for a replacement ?
seen a pair on ebay but that were asking more then double the original price for a second hand pair .

I got a good pair of winter gloves at Decathlon a couple of years ago. Actually preferred them to my Sealskins as they were a better fit. Good water resistance too. But tried to find them as a replacement at Decathlon last week and no sign of them...

I’m very pleased with my Assos winter gloves now in their 3rd season. Not cheap but they work.

I feel your pain. My Crane walking trousers and bike jersey did sterling service, but are now not available for purchase :-(
I picked up a set of Nike lightweight gloves second hand, with longer cuffs, and they meet my winter needs. No idea of the model, but they are in a blue, inside out, fleece.

Finding the perfect gloves is really hard and it is a pain when your go to make are discontinued. I have a spectrum of long fingered gloves so it’s hard to recommend just one. They are all a trade off between warmth and dexterity. My autumn pair is Pearl Izuma which I’ve replaced several times, these are probably my most used, next up is some Lusso neoprene which are good when it gets cold, colder still is a pair of Rapha which are pretty good and a nice fit, then when it gets really cold I bring out the sealskins supported by a merino liner glove.

I went with Sports Direct running leggings for winter rides, and M&S stretch chino style trousers for workwear riding.

I've got a very old and well used pair of Sealskinz lobster gloves that take some beating but seeing as they're £60 now I can't see me ever buying any more. However, PX appears to have some Carnac lobsters for a tenner plus carriage. If I was after some now I'd probably give them a punt. Saying that, maybe the real cold weather is behind us now and it won't be too long before springtime gloves come out.

i cant get on with lobster gloves personally as i didnt have the dexterity and i am a sniffler in the cold months so carry a bucket load of tissues.

Agreed. Lobsters take some getting used to. Took me a while but they're my 'go to' winter gloves. Another pair I wear when it warms up a bit are neoprene gloves like scuba divers wear. Got them from aldi I think many years ago and though they're now in tatters I still wear them down to about 6C. Replacements for those seem to be exorbitant now with bike shops typically charging upwards of £30 for them. Mine were a tenner.

Have a look in Boyes Stores fishing department - I got my neoprene pair for a fiver. Only drawback is the ‘hinged’ finger ends for baiting hooks, and I had to remove the associated Velcro patches.

Funny that I wore lobster gloves the other day and felt the same! The STI shifters didn't play well with them!
