Has anyone else seen this website? RoadsafeLondon for reporting bad driving set up by the Met

Good idea. I wouldn't mind one for Surrey/Norfolk....not that I think the police in Norfolk would ever check it as they don't seem to care too much when you visit them in person.

I'll be interested to see how it compares to being shuffled around three different police stations for a week and spending a couple of hours on the phone being told 'that actually someone else should be dealing with this and it's all gone wrong because you used the wrong form anyway. Let me give you the contact details for someone that doesn't exist'.

I take it your claim isn't going too well then Ben?

I was referring more to previous experiences of having footage of pre-meditated acts of dangerous driving.

This morning I saw the official report into my mother-in-law's accident that her solicitor received. A supposed fatal accident investigation apparently takes up no more space than the back of a cornflake packet. I don't know if they're inept, corrupt or what, but I have plenty of experience to lead me to a position where I have very low expectations of the met.

Hopefully I'll have little to do with them when it comes to my claim.

i spent yesterday driving around London and was amazed at the quality of driving compared to home. i could have pulled dozens for driving whilst mobile use on one corner alone over the space of an hour. it was shocking it would almost be a full time job. but i guess it seemed to be the way most people drove where ever in the capital i was and i covered many miles yesterday. i wouldnt wish it on anyone!

Huh! A mobile toting tool is the mildest of problems. Practised muppets have the phone on speakerphone and shout stuff out whilst driving anyway - their thoughts are often not going with the flow, so to speak. Draconian fines and bans need to happen. To make people learn that they will 'hurt' themselves.
