Rest Days

This is aimed at those who typically cycle for at least 1 hr at a time:

How often do you take a day off and for what reason?

What is your record for most consecutive riding days (1 hr plus)?

I work 12 hr shifts so normally take a day off once every 8-10 days.

If it a weekend off I would have my daughter so can't get out.

I therefore ride a minimum I guess of maybe 21 out of every 28 days.

I ride to work.

If I need to get to work, I cycle. If I'm not working (ie weekend), I don't cycle. If I'm off work for more than a few days then I go for leisure rides bout 25-30 miles. No planned rest says as such, but I get them at the weekends.

Im always cycling 5 days out of the 7 to get to and from work, sometimes i will cycle on both my days off so there are sometimes many days in a row when i am on my bike

I've just completed 295 miles in 7 consecutive days. I will almost certainly rest tomorrow; although I said that today
