Avoid fleabay "bargains" and I'm certainly not going to post "well one did" but I bet someone will. I just sympathise, bin there then realise I'd f***ed up :cursing: but never with computer stuff
I disagree. As long as you choose reasonably carefully, you can get good stuff for a song. I'm posting this from my PC of two years' standing, which I got off ebay for £35, including a monitor which I sold on ebay for £37. Net cost -£2. Never missed a beat. Unlike the last PC I bought new - near £400 for the BSD on a weekly basis for 18 months till I got shot of it.

Basically, as with most ebay stuff, find the item, liaise with the seller till you get the cut of his jib, if you don't get good vibes, leave it. If you do, get something 'pre-tested' for a fraction of the new price.

No chance. I tried this once and got nowhere fast.
better to have tried and failed though.
