Very nearly there, but had to halt to take friend's teenage daughter to party. Just need to cable up brakes, take up slack in chain, then test ride and lastly tape up bars with tape which matches the saddle:-

haha......my comment re teenage daughter was ambiguous. Those bits of person in the pics is my friend whose bike it is and who I'm assisting. She wants to assemble it under my tutelage and it was she who had to break off and take HER daughter to said party.

Frustratingly, we were not able to complete the project today, as a small item for the brakes was missing - not sent by the ebay seller in error. However, the chain was split to the correct length and fitted, so it's almost good to go. Just needs the brakes to be set up and finally, the bars to be taped, once my friend knows where she wants the brake hoods.
