UPDATED

Brand new pair of wheels I bought online, but I now am getting a 700c frame so these have to go.

I paid £40 for these wheels and they're brand new, so £25 posted is fair seeing as they're unused. Bolted axels. 27" x 1/4

They are alloy but the front one has a chrome finish and would look great for a resto project, the rear one doesn't have a chrome finish but is brand new.

SOLD

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Next are my 27x 1/14 Weinmann rims on Shimano hubs which are Quick release and have a 6 speed Shimano UG freewheel on them, in good condition, but not chrome finished like the pair above.

£35 posted.

£8 for the pair posted.

I also have some SR SAKAE CUSTOM Road Champion Alloy drop bars.

They need some work to get them back to good work so I'm asking for £8 posted.

Just need the tape pulled off and polished.

Are any of these wheels 700c? I get the impression not from your post but thought I'd double check.

I might be interested in the tyres. I am having trouble  measuring the wheels to check the size I need.

Feel free to PM me if you would like them. These tyres are 27" for 27" wheels though, not 700c.

They would be for a Coventry Eagle from about late seventies or early eighties, so I think the current wheels are imperial, rather than metric. I am having trouble working out how to measure the wheels.

I'm not too sure of that myself to be honest. I would assume they would be 27" too though. The tyres don't seem to be going anywhere fast anyway lol, so I can hold on.

As Sheldon says, the axle gets in the way.

I think the bead seat diameter is 26½ inches, to which he says to add 6 to 8mm.

8mm is 5 16ths of an inch.

It's not too important lol, if it's too hard to work out, then feel free to leave it. I'd rather you didn't buy them and find out they don't fit

Yes please, I would like your tyres.

I have been looking again and measuring. It was after I decided that the wheels are imperial and I need 27 inch tyres, that I spotted the size on my tyres, which says 27 " x 1¼.

This will get the bike back in use again.
