I've got them on one of my bikes as the only brake levers, the cable nipple sits in the adjuster so that I can route the brake cable back underneath the bar tape on 'Bullhorn' handlebars and still use 'Bar End' shifters in the ends.
I tried TT extensions with the shifters mounted in them but couldn't get on with them and a guy at Julies Cycles in Leicester suggested this bodge fantastic idea.

I ran over a cat once. Descending the 11% but straight Standingstane Rd in the pitch black, its far enough away from civilization that there's no light pollution. Two wee lights appeared in the long grass verge to my left, cats eyes. They then decided to jump out right as I was passing and somehow managed to fit through the gap between my crankarm and two wheels and below the BB. I heard a squeal but never felt a thud and when I eventually managed to stop and go back up the hill, they were nowhere in sight! Good job they have nine lives

I've got those on my tourer. I may look at how to change their positions, as I don't use the flats on my trekking bars enough and switching from the sides to the bottom bars can be difficult in a pinch, should I need to stop on a dime.

I was in Smyths toy shop the other week with my boys and my eldest who is nearly 4 spotted a kids racing bike just like daddy's which had those not bad for a £139 bike just a bit too big for him at the moment.
