For sale a Londoner racing bike dating from my student days in the 80's. Reynolds 501 steel frame. 20" from centre of BB to top of top tube. 2 x 6 speed, original period shifters and levers. Painted met sky blue. Somewhat faded paint and with surface rust where for example the chain has hit the chainstay. It's sound though and it's a quality steel frame.
It suits a smallish man (I'm 5'6") and is set up for a short reach. The frame has very steep angles and so is very twitchy and responsive. It's not a tourer for plodding around, but it flies when you press on the pedals.

All working, a very quick commuter bike. I'd keep it but I'm just not using the thing. At £100 it's about the price of the rebuild I did on it in 1988 when it was half knackered after a year of being blasted round London! It's been little used since, I got seduced by knobbly tyres and went over to the dark side for a while.
