BR review HERE, but seems rather pointless IMO.

FYI - all roads usually lead to Garmin though ;)

Why spend £120 to achieve something that can be achieved with a £15 iPhone mount, especially as it does nothing to address the main failings of phone based syetems such as battery life.

A Garmin 200 will do the same job at 2/3 of the price

With the garmins can you upload your ride data if you were out and also can you upload it to strava while you are out aswell ?
No*, but why would you want to? You upload the ride when you've finished and you've saved it. You can upload it to Strava as well, just not while your out.

*this may be an option on the new EDGE 1000, but IDK as it's way beyond anything I'll ever need so I've never read the specs of it.

The RKLFT cannot do so either, this is a function of the phone that it connects to and NOT the RKLFT. so again the phone on the handlebar achieves this more cheaply than buying the RKLFT

The main difference is that the RKLFT is simply a display for the phone, and it is the phone that has the functionality. The Garmin is a fully functional stand alone device that records and then downloads to the phone (depending on model)

I certainly can upload to my phone on the 810, as pressing save automatically uploads to the phone which then uploads to the designated websites

....and I also have the battery life left to do so!
