The scenery is the right way round, and the shadows are correct. I can't really see the chain at this size. I assume it is clearly on the left ?

Looks to me as if it's two pics photoshopped together - the change of scenery line in front of the lead bicycle doesn't look natural.

Not that I can see how that would affect the point in question.

It's is. They have airbrushed out the road that runs just where the join is.

Yes, even at this size if you look at the back wheel the chain would be seen crossing into the centre if it were on the right side. It's a Virgin Atlantic ad BTW

Here's a photo I took in June this year. The only road there is a dirt track used by the tour jeeps. It does look photo shopped to me..........
