Can't beat the Bikeline books. Buy them and there's no need to research anything.

Hi ,i did the Rhine and Danube into Austria a couple of years ago,it was a great trip. Never had trouble finding campsites,we just asked at the tourist information office and they pointed them out on the map. We didnt get to the exciting bits of the Danube though as it was flooded so not sure what campsites further down are like.

@vernon is right, as always, and I used the Bikeline books for the Danube last year and they are most wonderful in every respect. Buy them and you won't go wrong.

I'm heading back to Budapest to complete the last leg of Eurovelo six between Budapest and Constanta this summer. It's should be a nice leisurely ride over four weeks.
