I like the aesthetic generally, or more accurately, what you've done with it, but I am at a complete loss as to why anyone would flaunt copy wheels like that... If they're good then why do they need to be stickered up as FFWD brand when they're not??

Sorry, but the hubs are a complete give-away - wrong colour and wrong pattern. They may be good wheels, but I'd say they are rather poor copies.

No I wouldn't say poor copies. Just poor mans wheels. Not everyone can afford £1000 for a set of wheels, I can understand it if you were racing but for a 53 yrs old cyclist they are fine. The main thing is to get me up them bloody hills! :-)

Bike looks great whether or not they are copy wheels.
Its your bike and if they suit you then all is well.If they ride well enough for what you want them to do then its job done.

You're missing my point. The wheels would be fine as they are without the fake decals. Adding the FFWD stickers just cheapens the whole thing. You wouldn't put a Ferrari badge on an MR2. If climbing was the main consideration, then a 38mm profile would have been lighter/better.

Deep sections look ugly regardless, IMO. As for 'who cares' - I do. I don't see the need to pass them off as something they aren't.
