You're asking that question based on what we're living in. Your question relies on time. If time was a part of God's creation, then the question needs to take this into account.

Time? How so? That's your perception, surely?

Revelation 1:8

OK so Revelation scored 1 - who were they playing who scored 8?

Religion is the producer of false hope. It all depends where an individual was born and bought up. An individual is usually simply down to education and surrounding from an early age, which is sad. Everyone seems to blindly believe that their specific religion is the one, and they can't all be right, thats for sure.

False hope is better than no hope, I bet 90% of people would start praying if they were about to die

If you honestly believe that giving someone false hope is better than not, then we are COMPLETELY different. I would rather accept it gracefully and surround myself with the people I love.

I’m not trying to convert anybody, but a few years back I was about to have an operation and I was wheeled into the theatre and I asked God to look after me, and I don’t know what it was, but I had a warm glow that started from my feet upwards and I felt very calm and secure, I can’t explain why it happened in the physical term, but spiritually I can.

Well I don't wish to ruin any perceived events or memories, as it seems to be a special part of your life. So I'll keep my mouth shut.

No everybody is entitled to have their say one way or the other, I can’t prove there is a God, but I live in hope that there is a life after death, and if there isn't I have lost nothing

Yes, true, if you want a life after death. I personally would not want to live on for eternity. A few hundred years would be fine, but eternity is ridiculous!

Apologies if I appeared disrespectful, but no intention to bully NN.

That's why I did mention the positive side, that I still have some involvement in the thing and that I do give the thing serious consideration. But still...

Kinda depends where you're living really doesn't it.

In Christian terms 'heaven' is being with God in eternity. And hell is being eternally separated from him/her.
