If you were one of the 190342098372309842983742 billion cyclists who chose to ignore me, I hope you have a miserable day.

If you were one of the 3!!! people that nodded/waved back, I hope you have a great day

If you were that lady with that lovely smile - can I have your phone number?

Oh and asking if a cyclist needs a bit of help when they are messing around with their chain dosent really slow you down that much (chain keeps jumping off the rings when I go from small -> big ring)

If you are a proper cyclist you shouldn't need help sorting your chain out:rolleyes: I assume you always say hello and always stop whenever you see another cyclist? If there were that many you wouldn't have got anywhere for saying hello. What is it about nodding and saying hello? I do it on country roads, but in a town where there is a cyclist every 20 yards, no chance:rolleyes:

I say hello / nod / wave to pretty much every cyclist I see, but there wasnt that many (Half an hour to get to the park, hour going around twice, half an hour to get home) - I always try to say hello to "serious" riders - mtb and roadie alike. I dont stop to ask if they need help, but i shout out if they need help.
