Oh and asking if a cyclist needs a bit of help when they are messing around with their chain dosent really slow you down that much (chain keeps jumping off the rings when I go from small -> big ring)

I say hello / nod / wave to pretty much every cyclist I see, but there wasnt that many (Half an hour to get to the park, hour going around twice, half an hour to get home) - I always try to say hello to "serious" riders - mtb and roadie alike. I dont stop to ask if they need help, but i shout out if they need help.
