I've also been looking at their New Sportive, but as a newbie the options on their site scares me. So many options available, which has it's pros and cons.

Here's mine...

Well, with a few changes..
Black wheels, silver groupset ? thats because i already had silver Fulcrums to go on, so the black wheels have gone on my old bike.
As far as the multitude of options go..most of them such as stem, seatpost, saddle, bars etc will make no great difference (other than aesthetics) to the bike.
The only things you definately notice is the Superlegerra saddle is nowhere near as comfortable as my Ponza saddles and the Rodi Airline wheels do look nice out of the box, but they are heavy'ish...but then they're relatively budget wheels (although well regarded apparently).

One of the guys I know has a Ribble, I think its an awesome bike. So often people mention ribble with a comment regarding price, it does not do them justice, these are great bikes, price has nothing to do with it. They ride really well and are nice to look at imho
