I'm not sure they close many roads for the London to Brighton so they aren't likely to get away with it for a few Evans rides! You don't have to dodge traffic - just ride conscious of where it is.

Not bad for the energy side. Plus this year there are Gore clothing centres where you can pick up clothing to wear during the ride and hand it back for washing afterwards. :biggrin:

They're well organised, well attended, with a good mix of riders. They usually have a 'try a bike scheme', but you need to get in early. I've enjoyed the ones I've done.

Yeah, you've got to be there on the crow of dawn (8am) for the "try a bike". they also must be pre booked and I understand they cost about £35 which is refunded as a voucher to use against the purchase of bike from Evans.
