Rider Down Battersea

On Queens Circus (The roundabout by battersea park)Went past at about 6.05pm and i saw a bike lying in the bike lane next to the petrol station on the round about. Front wheel pretty badly bent. Lots of police on scene and plenty of other vehicles, they looked like witness's.
No sign of a rider or ambulance, presumed taken to hospital.

UPDATE: Looks like a white van was involved.

I passed around 7.30 and the bike was still there as police were still taking pics etc.

I spoke to one of the policemen while waiting at head of traffic queue. He said that the air ambulance had taken the rider to hospital but there was no further news.

Fingers crossed, they'll be OK.

I've never liked crossing that RAB, full of potholes and traffic- usually turn off after Chelsea Bridge and go through Battersea Park to avoid it. Hope he or she is ok.

They have resurfaced the road. Perfectly smooth now.

Great, am moving back to Battersea soon.
