Well it was bound to happen sooner or later. I had my worst crash of the year out on the trails the other day. I felt quite weak from all the loss of blood and don't know how I made it out of the woods.

We call them 'little lie downs' - but that clip is way over two minutes long. We get up and back on straight away on this side of the pond. Nothing to see here ! Nothing get's you-tubed just in-case the 'better halves' see anything. Didn't happen, was a 'lie down'.

It's so easy to do. A moment's lack of concentration and something simple and seemingly innocuous can be so painful. I'll own up to one of mine. It's nearly two years to that day when I got this wrong. A trail I'd ridden many times before without any problems. A fractured pelvis and out of riding for around three months. But oh so lucky. Three great guys rescued me (and my bike), carried me to a place of safety, called the ambulance and stayed with me for over two hours until the ambulance arrived to take me to hospital.
I never really intended to post this bit of video but here goes....
