First commute with the Clarks pads and they are like night and day compared to the standard Tektros. I can now lock the rear up from the hoods and imagine I could pull an endo with the front if I felt the need ^_^. Very impressed and would certaily recommend, especially considering the price.

Good job.

Discs - even cable ones - are 100 per cent better than rim brakes.

But as you've found, rim brakes can be made to perform quite well.

Where they can fall out of bed is in the wet.

It's not like you'll have no brakes, so nothing to worry about, but a bit of experimentation in the wet would be wise, so you know what to expect.
