Not sure how hilly you need it, but maybe if coming out from Wythall and Earlswood etc, then maybe going down to Lowsonford (nice pub) and across to Packwood House, then Dorridge and Knowle, then Hampton and through Meriden gives a bridge across the A45 into the countryside at the back of Coleshill.

I had a drive that way a week ago and it seems quite lumpy in parts. Watch the road going from the A45 to the Forest of Arden hotel though, some bugger had nicked all the drain covers.

From Branson's Cross on the A435 ( Cross & Bowling Green pub ) ride westbound to the A441. Turn left and go to the A4023 dual carriageway. Turn along the dual carriageway and test your speed. Approx 2km. 3 minutes at the most.

At the first exit, head north on Paper Mill Drive round to the B4497 ( Ryknield St ). Take the short section northbound through to Church Hill. Turn right and ride to Holt End. Turn right into Moss Lane and follow to the A435. Turn left and return to the Cross & Bowling Green.

Repeat several times.
